What was involved

We were commissioned to install our second Control4 system on a new Sunseeker luxury yacht. The project involved several unique challenges, including slim bulkheads and the need to run cables to seven cabins while maintaining the yacht’s sleek design.

The installation included:

  • Control4 Home Automation – centralised system for seamless control of audio, video, lighting, and more.

  • Full Video Distribution – delivering high-definition video to all cabins and communal areas.

  • Bose Integrated Audio – multi-zone audio system providing high-quality sound throughout the yacht.

  • Dedicated Wi-Fi Network – robust coverage for all cabins and onboard devices.

  • Integrated CCTV – security cameras with remote monitoring capability.

  • Remote Management – enabling system monitoring and support even when away from the yacht.

This setup provides a fully integrated, luxurious AV and smart home experience at sea, combining entertainment, connectivity, and security in a clean, efficient design tailored to the yacht’s interior.

After iMedia had installed the Control4 System on my friend's yacht we were advised to use the same.  

iMedia came to our home and installed a Control4 system there first so that when my family and guests spent time on the new yacht we were completely comfortable with the operation. We have a fully operational system now which has been working on our yacht in the Mediterranean for the past two seasons with very little disruption to ourselves or our guests.
