What was Involved

One of iMedia’s existing clients moved to a new property in Seale and undertook a full renovation. To save costs, we reused some of the client’s previous AV products within the new installation.

The project included:

  • New Cat6 Structured Cabling System – providing a robust foundation for data, video, and audio distribution.

  • Sonos Multi-Zone Music System – delivering high-quality audio throughout the home.

  • Central AV Rack with Server – housing all AV, data, and video equipment neatly and securely.

  • Music and Video Distribution – ensuring seamless playback in multiple zones.

This installation provided a cost-effective, fully integrated solution, combining legacy equipment with modern infrastructure for a complete smart home experience.

What Was Installed

System Overview:

  • Original Installation: Sonos multi-zone music system in a 300-year-old property in Hook, paired with a new HD LCD TV and Sky TV.

  • New Property in Seale: Designed a fully integrated system using some of the existing equipment. The installation included:

    • Mirror TV – blending seamlessly into the room design.

    • Sonos Multi-Zone Music System with Sky HD – distributed throughout the home.

    • 5.1 Dedicated Home Cinema Room – high-quality surround sound for an immersive cinema experience.

This setup provided a modern, fully integrated entertainment system while maximizing the value of the client’s existing equipment.
